2007聯合國地球鬥士獎公布 高爾、奧會主席獲獎本報2007年2月5日台北訊
美國前副總統高爾（Al Gore）因為把環保作為公共服務的一個支柱，並呼籲人們關注對溫室氣體給世界帶來的危害而獲此榮譽。 其他5位獲獎者是：宣導環境法並關注荒漠化的阿爾及利亞人拉赫馬尼（Cherif Rahmani）。在菲律賓積極推動由非政府組織、私營機構和政府三方共同設立環保基金「布朗基金」的葛純女士（Elisea Gozun）。積極推動多邊環境條約談判的瑞典人伯恩女士（Viveka Bohn）。不懈努力保護亞馬遜雨林並同時兼顧當地住民生活改善的巴西人席爾瓦女士（Marina Silva）。跨境以整體協作方式保護環境的約旦公主哈桑‧本‧塔拉爾（Hassan Bin Talal）。 環境署說，這7位獲獎者代表了不同地區。該署將於4月19日在新加坡舉行特別頒獎儀式。環境署的「地球鬥士獎」設立於2004年，是一個年度獎項。 【參考資料】聯合國新聞稿 點閱數: 986 | email this page

聯合國環境規劃署（UNEP）1日宣佈評出2007年「地球鬥士獎」7位獲獎者，以表彰他們在環保方面做出的傑出貢獻。獲獎者包括：國際奧會主席羅格（Jacques Rogge）和他領導下的國際奧會因提倡體育和環保的結合而獲獎。
