髧彼兩髦，實維我儀，之死矢靡它。
母也天只！不諒人只！

※「髧」音同「淡」；「髦」音同「毛」；「慝」音同「特」。

 

柏木小舟

那條柏木小舟，在河中悠悠飄流。
船上那位長髮男子，是我朋友，
我發誓，對他的愛至死不渝，
母親啊，老天啊，為甚麼不了解我心中隱憂？

In the middle of the river a small cedar boat sails leisurely.
The long-haired man in the boat is my dearest.
I swear I will never change my mind.
Heavens, mother! Why don't you understand?
