雖然伊拉克境內目前仍未發現禽流感的病例，但公眾對其的恐懼已使得其他肉類的價格上漲。伊國政府為了防止疫情在國內爆發，正著手禁止至少20國的禽類產品進口，其中包括了科威特及土耳其這些已有疫情傳出的鄰國。
Bird Flu Fears Hit Iraq
Although Iraq has not recorded cases of bird flu, a health scare is already driving up the price of other kinds of meat. The Iraqi government is attempting to prevent an outbreak of avian flu by banning poultry imports from at least 20 countries, including neighbors such as Kuwait and Turkey, which have reported cases over the last few months.
