今年大西洋的颶風季已追平了過去之歷史紀錄。就在這個多事之季收尾前，5級颶風威爾瑪（Wilma）已造成加勒比海國家13人喪生，現在轉而嚴重威脅墨西哥、佛羅里達州以及美國大西洋沿岸等州郡。佛州緊急處理中心官員19日正午已下令非該州居民立即撤離。
Strongest Atlantic Hurricane on Record, Wilma Aims at Gulf of Mexico
This Atlantic hurricane season appears to have saved the worst for last. At the tail end of an already devastating season, Category 5 Hurricane Wilma has claimed 13 lives in Caribbean countries and is now threatening Mexico, Florida and the Atlantic coast of the United States. At noon today, Florida emergency management officials ordered all nonresidents to evacuate the state.
