請大家不要一直對我們的新總統提出抱怨或挖掘他的缺點。我們都知道他現在的處境並不輕鬆，大家為什麼不試著和善一點來對待他？正在興建中的核四廠，並不是陳總統任內所決定的事情，而且既然我們是一個民主國家，自然也不能只交由陳總統一個人來決定核四廠的命運。假設在未來核四廠被興建完成，而且正式被啟用，也不代表陳總統就是以金錢為取向。至少我完全不同意這樣子的看法。
在電子報當中有許多反核的聲浪，也有許多對陳水扁總統的要求，甚至是批評。我相信這些意見都極具價值而且是崇高的。但是，無論如何，我希望大家能把焦點集中在反核等環境議題上面，避免把社會大眾引導到對新政府的一個情緒性的反應。
嗯，我認為我有權利也應該在這裡發表我的意見。畢竟我是利用在美國求學期間的春假，特地飛回台灣投了陳水扁總統一票。

Dear Sir,
Please do not try to assign potential blame and fault to our new president.
We all know he will be in a tough position, and why are you kind of trying
to set him up? Whether Taiwan is going to build a fourth nuclear power
plant is not really the President's decision to make because now we are
truly a democratic country! If the new power plant is finished and used in
the future, will it really imply that A-Bian is a president into money? I
completely disagree.
I think your cause is worthy and noble. However, please stay focused on
your real cause instead of bringing in people who should not be held
responsible.

By the way I voted for A-Bian as well by flying back to Taiwan during my
