伊朗西部省份洛雷斯坦（Lorestan）自上月31日起接續發生地震，總共造成70人死亡，1,300多人受傷。德黑蘭大學地球物理學院1日發表聲明表示，首次芮氏規模6.0的強震發生在當地時間31日凌晨，受創地區介於杜瑙德（Doroud）及波洛杰德（Boroujerd）之間的山區，而之後更發生數起餘震。
Earthquakes Claim 70 Lives in Western Iran damage
A series of earthquakes that struck Iran's western Lorestan Province starting Friday have killed 70 people and injured more than 1,300 others. Tehran University's Geophysics Institute said in a statement on Sunday that the aftershocks followed a 6.0 magnitude quake which shook the mountainous region between the cities of Doroud and Borujerd at dawn on Friday, local time.
