美國聯邦政府12日發布的年報指出，未來的25年內油價將會維持在每桶50美元上下，其將增加國內原油生產的壓力，也將增加以非傳統石油資源作為運輸燃料油的需求，如：乙醇和生質柴油。該報告推翻去年所做至2025年原油價格會降到每桶約33美元的預測。
$50 a Barrel Oil Forecast for Next 25 Years
Oil prices will remain near the $50 per barrel mark over the next 25 years, increasing the pressure for more domestic crude oil production and increasing the demand for unconventional sources of transportation fuel, such as ethanol and biodiesel, says an annual federal government report issued today. The report backs away from last year's prediction that the price of crude would fall to around $33 per barrel by 2025.
