英國交通部長達林（Alistair Darling）今天宣布，英國沿岸的32個區域被列為「海洋環境高風險區」。「海洋環境高風險區」在船隻經過易受損的環境區域時，即會告知船長行經這些區域必須比平常更加小心謹慎，因為這些區域將承受商業運輸的污染風險。
Britain Warns Shippers of Marine Environmental High Risk Areas
Thirty-two locations around the coast of Great Britain have been identified as Marine Environmental High Risk Areas, British Transport Secretary Alistair Darling announced today. The MEHRAs will serve to inform ships' masters where they need to exercise more caution than usual crossing areas of high environmental sensitivity where there is a risk of pollution from merchant shipping.
