美國國家科學院22日發表針對地表溫度變化的推論結果，其中指出，現今地球溫度較過去四百年間高，且可能比過去1000年以來更為溫暖。該報告作者表示，人為的活動為多數氣溫暖化的主因，而在其總數155頁的報告中亦提出了相關的佐證。
Expert Panel Concludes Earth's Temperature Warmest in 400 Years
The Earth is hotter today than it has been in four centuries and likely warmer than it has been in the past 1,000 years, according to a review of surface temperature research released Thursday by the U.S. National Academies of Science. The 155 page report provides additional evidence that "human activities are responsible for much of the warming," the authors said.
