來自英國數個最具影響力企業的14位高階主管7日受英國首相布萊爾之邀，於唐寧街官邸內商討氣候變遷議題，並表示支持布萊爾大刀闊斧採用各項預防氣候變遷之措施。商業鉅子們隨後公開表示相當樂意與政府合作，以鞏固英國在關於氣候變遷7項特定領域中的領導地位。
British Business Leaders Urge Deep Climate Emissions Cuts
Fourteen senior executives of some of the UK's largest firms have offered their support to Prime Minister Tony Blair in taking bold steps to prevent climate change. Invited by the Prime Minister to Number 10 Downing Street Tuesday for round-table talks on climate change, the business leaders offered to work with the government to help strengthen British leadership on climate change in seven specific areas.
