美國南洛杉磯受去年暴風雨破壞溼地，影響了自安納漢至杭亭頓海灘市數個社區內約230萬人的飲水品質，不過由於重建基金已發放至地方，使得居民對水質改善的渴望。美國聯邦急難管理署（FEMA）災後對加州發放補助款，其中橘郡水利署（OCWD）獲得285萬美元之重建補助。
Orange County Water District Gets $2.8 Million for Wetlands Repair
Water quality for 2.3 million people in the communities south of Los Angeles from Anaheim to Huntington Beach is expected to be cleaner soon, now that funding is in place to restore a wetland damaged by last winter’s storm. The Orange County Water District was awarded $2.85 million as part of a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to the state of California.
