彩虹掛在東天，無人敢指指點點。

早晨彩虹在西邊，整個上午下雨天。

為甚麼要婦德婦從？為甚麼要父母之命？
Rainbow
A rainbow in the East; we are taught not to point at it.
A girl grows up, naturally wanting to be married,
leaving her parents and brothers.
A rainbow in the West; it rains the whole morning.
A girl grows up, naturally wanting to be married,
Leaving her parents and brothers.
Is this not so for a grown-up girl? She just wants to be married.
Why should she submit to conventional rules?
Why should she obey her parents?
