清城的壯丁，駐防在彭城。
四匹披甲戰馬，兩柄紅纓長矛交錯，
沿著黃河岸，他們來回巡索。

Men from Qing guard the city of Peng.
Four horses wear bright armour.
Two red tasseled spears: one rises, the other dips,
Along the Yellow River, on a merry march.
Men from Qing guard the city of Xiao.
Four horses bear bright armour.
Two pheasant feathered spears wildly whip the air,
Along the Yellow River, on a joyful march.
Men from Qing guard the city of Zhu.
Four horses run beside the river.
In his left hand the commander holds a flag, in his right, a sword.
He beams in anticipation, eagerly issuing orders.
