南風講座：Ethical Aspects of Studies on Populations Resident in Contaminated Sites

受台大社科院風險社會與政策研究中心邀請，配合南風攝影展-台西村的故事舉辦專題講座，該展覽主要以影像描述每年夏天當「南風」來臨之際，濁水溪對岸的臺塑六輕廠排放的廢氣吹向台西村，村民被迫生活在各種有害物質帶來的健康風險中。
The objectives of the talk include: 1) Bringing professional ethics into the discourse on studying people in contaminated areas/sites; 2) Distinguishing contexts between the need for research and the need for action, and between historically contaminated sites and sites experiencing ongoing contantamination; and 3) Providing a generic framework for ethical decision-making.
