美國總統布希昨天坐直昇機從他德州農場至華府的回程中，巡視了受到颶風卡崔娜重創並淹水的紐奧良及墨西哥沿岸。在視查了這些風災災區後，布希表示，我們面臨的是美國有史已來最嚴重的天災。
Desolate Gulf Coast Will Take Years to Recover
President George W. Bush flew over the hurricane-struck and flooded city of New Orleans and the rest of the battered Gulf Coast Wednesday on his way back to Washington from his Texas ranch. "We are dealing with one of the worst natural disasters in our nation's history," the President said after viewing the destruction left by Hurricane Katrina.
