Ivory Coast Toxic Tanker Impounded by Estonia
Estonian officials have detained the oil tanker at the heart of the Ivory Coast toxic waste scandal that has killed eight people and caused more than 75,000 to seek medical treatment. EU Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas, who traveled to the Estonian port of Paldiski on Thursday, condemned the actions of the Dutch-chartered tanker and urged EU members to strictly enforce laws banning the export of hazardous waste. 相關文章
