週六登場的活樂地球演唱會，美國華府也在最後一刻將加入演出的行列，希望藉由全球音樂日的舉辦以喚醒世界對氣候危機的關注。
美國華府演唱會在美國國立印地安博物館（National Museum of the American Indian）舉行，美國前副總統同時也是活樂地球演唱會發起人高爾，以及美國鄉村音樂巨星葛西布魯克斯(Garth Brooks)、崔夏宜爾伍(Trisha Yearwood)夫婦都將登場演出。
2007年7月7日在全球7大洲陸續接力的活樂地球演唱會，熱力開唱24小時不間斷，超過150名音樂表演者以及超過20億的群眾將齊聚在一起參與這項全球活動，呼籲並解決全球暖化的危機。
而透過史無前例的全球媒體傳播網，如電視、電台、網路、無線頻道等，也將演唱會放送到全世界的觀眾面前。
A last minute surprise show has been added to Saturday's Live Earth concert lineup, bringing to the nation's capital the global day of music to raise awareness of the climate crisis.
The concert at the National Museum of the American Indian will feature former U.S. Vice President and Live Earth organizer Al Gore, and country music stars the husband-and-wife team of Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.
Live Earth is a 24 hour, seven continent series of concerts taking place on July 7, 2007, bringing together more than 150 music artists and two billion people in a global movement to solve the climate crisis.
Live Earth will reach this worldwide audience through an unprecedented global media network covering television, radio, Internet, and wireless channels.
