First Satellite Images Show Lebanese Oil Spill on Syrian Coast
An “environmental catastrophe” is occurring in the eastern Mediterranean as 30,000 tons of oil spilled by the Israeli Bombardment of a Lebanese power plant nearly three weeks ago spreads out unchecked over the sea, warn United Nations environmental officials.
