109th Congress Passes Last Minute Environmental Bills
Last week in a push lasting into the early hours of Saturday morning, the outgoing 109th Congress passed and sent to the President environmental measures dealing with fisheries, drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, tax credits for solar and wind energy, tsunami and drought warnings, and protection of wilderness lands in Nevada.
