北極熊專家在15日發布的報告中指出，因為氣候變遷，北極熊正逐漸喪失其在寒冷北極的棲地，世界19個北極熊族群當中有5個正漸漸消失。同時報告也指出，在未來35到50年當中，北極熊族群有可能減少30%。
Polar Bear Populations Shrinking as Arctic Ice Melts
Polar bears are losing their icy Arctic habitat to climate change, and five out of the world's 19 polar bear populations are now in decline, polar bear experts said in a report released today. A 30 percent decline in the size of the total polar bear population within the next 35 to 50 years is likely, the report states.
