Climate Change Threatens Southern Africa's Food Security
Climate changes have led to a drastic fall in agricultural production in Malawi and other southern African countries, delegates to the ongoing UN climate change conference are learning. Already over-burdened with HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis, unprecedented drought has hit these countries, pressuring them to import huge amounts of food.
