加拿大卑詩省政府，提出未來將開放企業在12座省立公園開發住宿設施的計畫，其中包括了會所及渡假中心的設立。而該省環境廰廳長彭納表示，他將於下個月提出此公園開發議案，包括其中的區域有溫哥華以東50公里處的金耳公園、洛磯山的阿西尼玻丘以及中部卡里布山脈的灰泉省立公園等。
Private Developers Invited Into 12 British Columbia Parks
The British Columbia government is moving ahead with its plan to permit privately funded roofed accommodations in 12 provincial parks, including lodges and resorts. BC Environment Minister Barry Penner said he will issue requests for proposals in August for the development of parks, including Golden Ears about 50 kilometers east of Vancouver, Mount Assiniboine in the Rocky Mountains, and Wells Grey in the Cariboo Mountains of the central interior.
